LITTLE ELM - Authorities are searching for a 5-year-old boy who Little Elm police suspect was taken by his biological mother.
An Amber Alert was issued for Tyler Neal after 1 p.m.
The child is a black male weighing 59 pounds at 3’11” tall, was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green and blue button-down plaid shirt, back and white Nike tennis shoes, a blue a gray Nike windbreaker and a Sponge Bob backpack, police said in a written statement Tuesday afternoon.
Cynthia Neal, the boy’s mother, is a 31-year-old black female weighing 180 pounds and 5’4”. She is known to wear wigs, police said.
Authorities are on the lookout for the suspect’s yellow 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Texas license plates CC5-K500.
